Lane-CPA is a Detroit-based full-service accounting firm led by Randy K Lane, a CPA with nearly three decades of experience. The firm is dedicated to providing high-quality accounting, audit, tax, and management advisory services. Randy has served as an assurance partner with Arthur Andersen LLP, serving high-profile clients from the Detroit office, and was an investment officer with Ford Motor Credit Company from 1987 to 1992. He has owned and operated Lane-CPA for more than a decade, focusing on public sector and nonprofit clients. Services include small business accounting, payroll processing, quickbooks services and training, tax preparation and planning, personal financial planning, estate planning, elder care, family office services, audits, reviews and compilations, cash flow management, bank financing, business valuation, strategic business planning, succession planning, and new business formation. The firm is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and has held positions with community organizations including treasurer roles at the Arts League of Michigan and Detroit Youth Foundation, as well as board president at Franklin-Wright Settlements and chapter president at the National Association of Black Accountants Detroit Chapter. Lane holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Michigan State University.
